My name is Tommy Bui. I’m a  3rd-year medical student at the Medical College of Georgia.

Growing up, a significant emphasis was placed on travel to see the world and enrich my perspective. My interest in global health comes from a strong desire to serve communities. A strong public health foundation starts at home, and my experiences with free clinics and outreach in medical school sparked my interest in global health.

Fun fact: I was in a pop-punk cover band in middle school, as a guitarist and singer. I’ve been trying to keep in touch with music during medical school but must admit I am way past my prime.
